Alpen Advances to Semifinal Round of DOE's Building Technology Office (BTO) Secondary Glazing Solution (SGS) Competition

Alpen の二次グレージングシステム WinSert が、米エネルギー省による総額210万ドルの Building Envelope Prize コンペティションで7つの準決勝進出案の一つに選ばれた。同社は第2フェーズの資金5万ドルを受け取り、コスト低減と性能向上に向けた開発を進める。過去の事例として、バンクーバーの Pacific Tower の改修で外皮性能が32%向上し、建物全体のエネルギー消費が13.4%削減されたことを挙げている。
