概要

Lyte builds LyteVision, a multimodal perception platform for robots that fuses 4D coherent vision providing depth plus velocity, high-resolution imaging and inertial sensing on proprietary silicon. The goal is to let robots measure both their environment and their own motion accurately enough for inspection, logistics and manufacturing autonomy.

創業の背景

Lyteは、Face IDやKinectの技術に携わったApple出身のエンジニアらが創業した企業である。ロボットの知覚では、複数のセンサーのデータ系列を位置合わせする作業が複雑であり、遅延によって動的な環境で古い情報に基づく判断が生じるという課題がある。同社はこの課題に対し、センサー、演算、ソフトウェアを一体化した空間知能基盤LyteGalaxyを開発し、その中核であるLyteVisionでコヒーレント4Dビジョン、RGB、IMUをエッジで融合している。
