Boston Metal and Outokumpu Announce Collaboration to Unlock the Future of Efficient Metals Production
Boston Metal と Outokumpu は、ステンレス鋼の生産における溶融酸化物電解（MOE）技術の応用を検討する覚書（MOU）を締結した。Boston Metal は Outokumpu の工程から出るサイドストリームを対象に MOE を試験する。一方 Outokumpu は、フィンランドの Kemi 鉱山から酸化クロムおよびクロム原料を供給し、Boston Metal の不活性アノード開発を支える。両社は、無炭素の金属生産の前進と重要金属サプライチェーンの強化を目的に掲げている。
