Leanspace

Leanspace provides a multi-mission software infrastructure covering satellite monitoring and control, mission planning, ground segment orchestration and testing of space hardware. Its platform is flight-proven with more than 20 spacecraft operators worldwide, including Quantum Space, Look Up and Clearspace. Since 2024 the company has moved into enterprise and institutional markets and says it has secured seven contracts with space agencies and primes such as Airbus Defence and Space, Hispasat and the European Space Agency. It addresses six segments: small satellites, in-orbit servicing vehicles, constellations, launchers and spaceports, large satellites, and ground station networks.

Leanspace は2020年に設立され、本社をフランスのストラスブール、米国拠点をコロラド州デンバーに置く。共同創業者でCEOのGuillaume Tanier は、地上系ソフトウェアを10年にわたり開発・販売してきた経験から、ミッションごとに地上系をゼロから作り直す非効率に着目したと2021年の発表で述べている。同社は、宇宙業界では1990年代由来のソフトウェアやクラウド非対応の運用が遅延とコスト増の原因になっていると説明し、標準プラットフォームで地上系構築の時間・費用・リスクを減らすことを目指して創業したとしている。2021年11月にステルスモードを脱し、シードで200万ユーロ超を調達したと発表した。
