CDDS(Counter Defense Drone Systems)は2025年5月にチューリッヒで設立された。同社によれば、共同創業者たちは無人機が社会に及ぼす脅威の高まりを目の当たりにし、低コストで急速に進化する脅威にどう対抗するかを自問し、低価格の機体にAIパイロットを載せることを答えとした。2023年にETHとチューリッヒ大学の研究室が、自律ドローンがチャンピオン級のドローンレースで人間のトップパイロットを上回れることを示した成果が、創業の直接のきっかけになったと説明している。ノルウェーに子会社を持つ。
