Fluid Wire Robotics is a 2024 spin-off of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa. It develops robotic manipulators for in-orbit satellite servicing, inspection and debris removal, based on its patented Fluid Wire actuation technology. In February 2026 it was selected for EIC Accelerator grant funding to build a space-grade qualification model of its manipulation subsystem and run an in-orbit demonstration.
