Neuracore was founded in 2024 by Stephen James, Assistant Professor of Robot Learning at Imperial College London, to replace the fragmented in-house pipelines robotics teams build for data logging, training and deployment. Its platform covers demonstration capture, dataset curation and versioning, imitation and reinforcement learning training, and policy deployment and monitoring on fleets, and it can run on managed cloud, in a customer VPC or fully on-premises. The company reports more than 50 organisations using the platform commercially and academically, across agriculture, warehousing, manufacturing and service robotics. Alongside the funding it launched a free academic programme giving universities unrestricted access to the full enterprise platform.
