概要
Deployable Energy manufactures small modular nuclear reactors designed to be built in a factory, shipped, and operated at sites lacking conventional power infrastructure. Target markets include defense installations, industrial operations and digital infrastructure. Solaris Energy Infrastructure took an equity stake and agreed to collaborate on commercialization and field deployment. Headquartered in Houston, Texas.
創業の背景
Deployable Energy は2025年に設立され、ヒューストンのエナジー・コリドーに拠点を置く。同社は「原子力はプロジェクトではなく製品であるべきだ」という考えを出発点に、空港ではなく航空機を量産するように、原子力システムをエネルギー産業の既存のエンジニアリングと製造、サプライチェーンで作ることを掲げている。共同創業者でCEOのBobby Gallagher氏は、軍の士官、東アジアやバルト海などの造船所での業務、オフショア石油・ガスの安全性を高めるディープテック企業の経営を経て、同社を共同創業したと述べている。
