Energy Robotics

Energy Robotics is a Darmstadt-based deep tech company that grew out of TU Darmstadt's Team Hector, which won Total's international ARGOS Challenge in 2017. Its cloud platform orchestrates mixed fleets of third-party robots and drones from vendors such as Boston Dynamics, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and DJI, handling navigation, visual and thermal inspection, gas leak detection and digital twin updates. The company says it has completed over one million inspections across five continents for customers including Shell, BP, Repsol, BASF, Merck and E.ON. In 2026 the company rebranded its product and web presence to Korial while retaining the legal name Energy Robotics GmbH.

Energy Robotics（現Korial）はドイツのダルムシュタットに本社を置き、Marc Dassler、Dorian Scholz、Stefan Kohlbrecher、Alberto Romay、Oskar von Strykの5名が共同創業したと同社は発表している。複数の創業者がダルムシュタット工科大学でロボティクスの博士号を持つか教授を務めており、Kohlbrecher氏はARGOSチャレンジやDARPA Robotics Challengeなどでチームを率いた。同社は、熟練労働者の退職と設備の老朽化で点検負荷が高まるなか、危険で単調な作業から人を解放することを使命に掲げている。2026年5月にKorialへ改称した。
