創業の背景
Scinus Groupは2016年に、Xpand Biotechnologyからの分社化により設立された。創業者はJoost de Bruijn教授、Clemens van Blitterswijk教授、FrankJan van der Velden氏で、再生医療の科学的知見と産業界の経営力を合わせ持つ。2019年にDemconが戦略的投資家かつエンジニアリングパートナーとして参画し、Osilarisプラットフォームの開発、産業化、市場投入を進めた。同社は、細胞治療の製造が業界最大の課題の一つであるとして、使命を細胞治療を世界中の患者に届けることに置いている。拠点はオランダのZeistにある。
