概要

Six Robotics develops a shared autonomy layer that lets multiple drones and robotic platforms coordinate and adapt in real time in contested environments. The company was founded in 2023 and works with the Norwegian Armed Forces and the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment. It is scaling deployments across European and NATO-aligned defence markets. Headquartered in Oslo.

創業の背景

Six Roboticsはノルウェーのオスロを拠点とする防衛向け自律化ソフトウェア企業である。創業者でCEOのChristian Fredrik Eggesbøは、ノルウェー軍で特殊部隊のオペレーターを務め、その後NORSOFとノルウェー国防研究所（FFI）で先端的な研究開発プロジェクトを管理した人物である。同社は、敵のロボットに数で劣る戦場になるとの認識に立ち、従来のレガシーシステムは拡張できないとして、無人システムが一体として動く協調型の群自律を掲げて事業を始めたと説明している。5人の体制から、友人・家族の出資だけで約90人まで成長したとしている。
