IVFmicro is a University of Leeds spinout, founded in 2024, developing a microfluidic device intended to improve IVF success rates. UK IVF treatment currently succeeds in roughly 30 percent of cycles for women under 35 and typically costs around 5,000 pounds per cycle. The company was co-founded by scientific director Helen Picton.
